Question: is there something you can put i a cut flower arrangement’s water to prolong the blooms???
my 8 year old daughter is entering an “arrangement” at our local fair. I have the flowers refrigerated until we leave today BUT, what can I use in the water to “keep” the flowers looking fresh longer???
i have to tell you what the “prize” for winning first place in her age catagory is… $ 1.50 yep, one dollar 50 cents :) it ended up costing more than that to make the container she is using… it’s all for fun and “recognition” basically :)
SHE WON FIRST PLACE… i’m waiting to see how long the flowers hold up with bleach in the water :)

Change the water before you leave. Add a half teaspoon of household bleach for each 16 fluid ounces of water.
